At first, I wasn't very into books on-line. I couldn't get into it, you see. It just didn't feel good to me. I like to be able to rest with a book, holding it in my hand and flipping the pages. I could tell where things were spatially and recollect the pages by their location. With the publication on-line, you can not do any of these things. It strains your eyes, requires you to sit up-right in the same position for hour upon hour, and is quite hard to flip your way all the way through. I also like audio books on CD, though.
After a few years of on-line book reading, however, I was a great deal more used to the method, just like I had gotten acclimated to audio books. I had already begun to buy publications on-line for almost every use. I bought sports publications online, textbooks online - you name it. Not only did the net allow me to buy printed publications inexpensively, but it also let me get into many things that were out of print.
Reading books on line isn't really that good for modern literature which you can buy inside the store. You might as well either buy it or take it out of the library, or listen to it, with books on cd. The great thing about publications online, however, is that you may often find quite old ones with only a little trouble. Resources like Project Gutenberg permit you to access the great classics of literature from all times and places around the globe. As long as it's no longer copy-protected, you can legally put the publication on-line.
Naturally, the area where books online have the greatest advantage of all is with audio publications. The great thing about audio publications on-line is that it is so much more handy than having to take them out of the library or go to an audio book shop. Instead, you can simply down-load them to your PC and listen to them at your convenience. If you would like to take them with you, you can put them on an iPod or burn them on CD. Audio publications on-line make total sense.
